Though I wasn’t of age to go and see Lupe Fiasco Last week Wednesday (4 months till my 18th) I told my self nothing was going to stop me from seeing my favourite artist, especially when he was in town. I even decided to go by myself. After 2 hours of waiting on the line, bouncers started walking up and down and asking people for ID. Though I looked older than 17 I decided I’d lie and say I was 19 (I know I’m bad) but It was Lupe right!!.
I got to the front and a security guard wouldn’t let me in he said “No ID no entry” I asked what possible ID I’d have with me, because I DON’T drive and not all people of the age of 19 drive he then requested to see my passport. I thought he was joking, but he wasn’t. A nice security guard came along and saw my ticket and saw that it was bought of ticket master and let me in. (Ticketmaster didn’t display that you had to be 18 and over. Though I DID know). So I guess that was false advertising right??
At the end of the day I still had fun and I’d do all over again Just to see Lu perform! Talk about true fan..
