I just let the dude introduce himself to you:
I go by the name LoveJones, most people know by Mike Jones(thats my real name). I originally from Topeka, Kansas, born and raised. I started doing writing when I was 15 but started doing music when I was 19 with a group called Full House. We took over the Lawrence, Kansas(University of Kansas) scene in a short time but my brother moved and we stopped doing music together. I went solo at that point before linking up with my guys Stik Figa and Adullessence and forming the Only Ones Crew. I moved to Chicago last January and started really focusing on music. I linked up with some guys out here and starting doing shows. I put together my first mixtape called Love Potion Number 9th, where all the beats are borrowed from one of my favorite producers, 9th Wonder. After getting good response from that project, I linked up with some different producers in Chicago and started working on a couple different project. One project called Sunday Drive which features production exclusively from Phys Edison. I am also putting together a mixtape/album tentatively titled "My Day Off." I have done a handful of shows here in Chicago and have gained the attention of some of the hottest MC's and producers in Chicago. I recently have been hitting the net weekly with a video installment called Mike Murder. I have been talking with a few big name DJ's in Miami as well some other producers in New York.
