i think the song works, but i dont think she'll last if she makes it. But then again...never thought Rihanna would last when she came out with that weak 1st album. Can somebody explain to me though why Lupe got on this track cuz you dont see to many collabos from him and this chick was kinda left field...
lupe is tryin to hit the crossover market too... morelikely atlantic wants him to hit the crossover market, but so long as he has fun (he sounds like he had fun w this) i have no problem with it. Plus I wanna see lupe succeed in the industry, not just respected, cuz he deserves better
"you dont see too many collabos from him" - I beg to differ here, Lupe has collaborated with a broad variety of artists (Joy Denalane, Tha Rayne, Emily King, Amanda Diva, just to name some of the females not to mention all the male performers he has collabed with) so something like this should come as absolutely no surprise - clearly he enjoys working with other artists
