do you know if for all the college shows you have to be a student there to get in?
ReplyDeleteHannah, I can't speak for all college shows, but the vast majority of them make tickets available to the general public (usually through their own ticket offices) - students just get easier access to tickets at discounted prices

yeah I think a lot of those colleges also make tickets available for the general public.

ReplyDeleteThe information regarding Lupe's performance at Summerfest on June 29th is incorrect. George Strait is performing at the Marcus Ampitheater that night and obviously Lupe wouldn't open for him so he will just be headlining a regular stage for a 10pm show. It should be amazing and only costs $8 so any Lupe fans in the midwest better get their asses to milwaukee for Lupeezey!

ReplyDeleteI was gonna go to Rock the Bells in Chicago with a group of friends for the weekend but my work wouldn't give me the time off... I asked and asked but denied denied. So they all went and I'm stuck up here in Alaska. I completely spaced that Lupe's Chi Tour date was also that weekend... My friend called me from chicago and told me about how they were going to see Lupe and I almost broke down in tears. If I'd known Lupe was gonna be there I would've just quit my job... They are at the concert right now as I speak. He called me right as Lupe was coming out and I heard the first half of Hello/Goodbye... it was amazing. I don't know how I'm ever gonna stop beating myself up about this. Lupe on friday then Nas, Common, and the Roots the next. This and the passing of mj is just too devastating... and did I mention it's my birthday?
