What's Up With That Remix Album Now ?

(I put that image together)

In April, MTV UK reported about a remix album for "The Cool". They said that Lupe works together with Justice to produce it... Here's the entry

So what's up with that now? Since the report from MTV, we pretty much didn't hear anything else about it. We got only one small impression of how it could sound like, Lupe performed "The Coolest" over Justice's "Let There Be Light" at some concerts during the Glow In The Dark Tour .

Will there ever be more? Will we ever get to hear the full remix album?
Only time will tell...maybe it's already completely done and
they're just waiting for the perfect moment to release it...

Maybe it's not even finished..who knows....

What do you think ?

  1. I think Lupe Fiasco is full of empty promises, ever since he said the cool was a concept album....

  2. haha...he said the cool was inspired by the concept of...he never said the whole thing would be concept

but i think he says things before they are fully realized...i.e. where the fuck is the coolest video? so it may still be coming and just might be coming later...you never know

  3. The Cool was a semi-concept album.. Half the story of The Cool and the other half was what Lupe felt was cool (Gold Watch) and what people perceive is cool (Little Weapon)

  4. half of it was not a concept....4 tracks were concept, and the other "half" wasn't all about what he think and other people think is cool...he just said that...superstar, paris tokyo, go baby, fighters...a lot of the album is just songs

  5. just songs lol

hes a music artist. thats what he does.

They were almost all based somewhat on cool. eg. paris tokyo about the streets? if you're reaching, there was the bio about the streets that said she existed 'since the first roads were alid' or something in whatever city.

prob not france though, they're shit

  6. This is why I take everything Lupe says with a grain of salt, including the supposed triple album.

  7. paris tokyo is not based on the streets, its about a dude who has to travel for his career, leaving a girl behind...but he loves her and wants her to know
