There are a lot of discussions about this topic. People are asking: "Who will be featured on Lupe's last album?" or they say: "I want to hear Lupe on a track with this or that artist"...so I thought: "We just gonna do some polls now !"
Today there are people in the poll who are already active for quite some time. On Monday there will be another one with some "Freshmen" and on Thursday we'll have the 3rd poll with artists that already worked with Lupe before. Eventually, the artists with the most votes out of each round will face each other in a 4th and final poll.
Ok..maybe it's a bit hard to choose between them because it would be cool to hear more than one of them on a track with Lupe but if you could only choose one...who would it be?

This was the hardest decision I've ever had to make in my entire life...lol
ReplyDeletewho the hell would put 50 cent up there??? lol
ReplyDeletenaw man F 50 fa real
but anyways...yeah i hope i get to see a legendary collab of Lupe & Nas, that would be sweet bro no doubt
or at least a MURS feature or something
What about you Sean? what artist you wanna see collab with Lupe?
I wanted to add some variety...so I added 50...lol
ReplyDeleteOut of those 6 I'd choose Common.
Lupe and Common on an electronic beat would be awesome.
There's also someone else who I'd really like to hear on a track with him but I'll keep that to myself for next week.
I'd say Nas, especially since he's one of Lupes inspirations.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't mind seeing him do a track with John Legend or Neyo.
ReplyDeleteI think he should do some more tracks with GemStones though. The chemistry is perfect.
You shoulda replaced 50 with OTHER lol. I'd have to say a track with Lupe & Nas or Andre 3000 (maybe even both)
ReplyDeletedamn..I forgot Andre 3k....and I also could have added Eminem...
ReplyDeletewell...too many good artists around..impossible to put everyone up.
hey Sean
ReplyDeleteok bor i sent those tracks
oh hey speaking of Andre 3000, hes coming out with a solo rap album in 2009 (if you havent heard yet) oh man i cant wait to hear that!
but theres a legendary cd i want so bad and cant wait for.....L......U.....P...E...dot...N...dot...P...dot lol
man that album(s) is gonna be great!
^^^ at the top, i meant to say bro instead of bor lol oops but yeah lemme know what ya think
ReplyDeleteComplex: Its bitter sweet :(
ReplyDeleteI can wait, because the longer it takes to come out the longer we have Lupe still around.
junebaby: yeah thats true i mean if i have to wait i will, all great things take time
ReplyDeleteand hopefully he wont leave....
June: Even if it takes a long time to come out, it doesn't mean Lupe will still be dropping material. It is bittersweet, but at least we know the man is going out with a BANG.
ReplyDeleteAndre 3k is my #1 pick, then Moss Def. But Ive got a crazy little curveball, Joe Budden. Not all hood and hype shit, but his more laid back, conscience/problems of life flow. It sounds wierd, but hat are yalls thoughts on it? I tink the chemistry would be suprisinglly explosive.
ReplyDeleteAll of them on one track 8D
ReplyDeleteOutlandish would be good too.
i think he should do one with rakim. Rakim has not come out with any music of his own in about 9 years, and the only thing notable he has done is Classic, with kanye, krs, and nas. A rakim/lupe collab would be legendary, and a way to have a pure, unadultered rap LEGEND say- hey, buy this album, this man is for real.
ReplyDeleteand listen to his mixtapes 'after all' is a track he laid down with kweli, and he also has some shit with mos def and em so id rather see something i havent heard before.
^^ he never did a real collabo with Em, Mos or Kweli...
ReplyDeletethat have only been blends or freestyles.
Kweli is the most similar to Lupe, Nas is jus his insperation which is weird coz i dnt like nas
