  1. I don't know what he was talking about when he said people didn't think Lupe Fiasco could make a good record and that he seemed like a skater backpack type rapper, because I think Kick, Push (which was amazing) was only one of around 15 tracks that was focused around skating. Lupe Fiasco definitely did not have any flaws that could stop him from receiving an award (which MTV had incorrect)and to me it seems that this year we can expect to see Lupe win a Grammy.

  2. People didn't think that Lupe can make a good record? Isn't Kick Push a great song? His entire argument is flawed. Plus this is MTV, they think Shawty Lo is better than Lupe.

  3. lol, make a good record? MTV got this dude reading a bullshit script. clearly the grammys thinks Lupe can make a good record because he got nominated for best rap album on F&L...wtf is MTV talking about?

  4. That's garbage. Superstar is great, but it's far from my favorite track on The Cool. There are a lot of others that are just as good or better.

  5. I see why Lupe says he doesn't like the music biz. He doesn't appeal to the masses? The masses are too busy bangin their heads to weezy, Shawty Lo, gucci, etc. He doesn't need to stoop to that level

  6. The Grammys aren't about who reaches the "masses", it's just good music, and hopefully that idea follows through this year

  7. Following the dudes logic about reaching the "masses" than MC Hammer should've been nominated. He went 10X plat.

  8. Wayne will eat Lupe's Lunch, drink his milkshake, and take his awards.

All jokes aside, I see Jay or Weezy taking this one.

  9. ^^ Why? Lil Wayne is a shitty rapper. Just b/c he sells a lot doesn't mean he's any good.
