He did twitter that Shining Down wouldn't be the first single I think... but must have switched that up, cause he also twittered 4 weeks ago that Shining Down will drop in a few weeks..
He has a track with Trey? Now that would be an interesting combination since he usually collaborates with artists on the opposite side of the spectrum. A song with Trey Songz would be just what the radio was looking for.
I don't know if this single will blow up like superstar for a few reasons:
first off, its gonna have to be censored/bleeped in a few spots
also, it's a diss at auto-tune, which may work now that jay dropped "DoA," but possibly could backfire
last, the verses seem more vague than superstar was, and if people dont understand it on the first listen, they might turn it off (at least people thought they understood superstar, even though they missed a lot of references/lines)
NAAB, Why do u care if its a radio hit? If you like the single then who gives a shit if it blows up or not. A good song is a good song, & if it ever comes out i'm playing it out. Any1 think the instrumental sounds like Eagles "Hotel California"?
