The good folks over at Complex.com are putting together some "Best of the 2000's" lists and on the "Top 100 Albums" list, "Lupe Fiasco's The Cool" made it to position #84.
i guess lupes to complex for complex...for real the cool should be in the top 5 ahead of kanye (i like ye) and i really didnt like F&L that much but it should still be in the top 75
Damnit sean you failed to see my sarcasm.. I didn't know what the album was but from the title I could tell it was some Wayne album.. List means nothing to me either way. Some of those albums I love at sometimes and just can't stand other times so the order doesn't mean a thing to me.
Food and Liquor definitely should've been on there. F&L was just as good of a mainstream album as it was a classic.
Like Father, Like Son along with The Carter 2, were pretty big albums. It pretty much made Wayne. Wayne charted single after single during that time. I'm not going to hate on that, because he definitely made an influence.
concept doesnt make much sense? cam'ron has an album higher on the list? stopped after that
ReplyDeleteThIs list prolly has to do with how commercial the albums were since the cool was more mainstream than food and liquor
ReplyDeleteWord, F&D was a CLASSIC!
