Lupe is saying more/varied things than Wayne is with less songs. Wayne isn't saying much different with each song.
Wayne loves putting out a lot of songs so that people see him as 'the hardest working.'

Lupe is 100 times the artist, and 1000 times the person lil wayne is.
Lupe's lyrics will always be better than that. And they don't disappoint in this.
What disappoints me so much is 3 of the songs we already had (All the way turnt up, Say something, Angels) leaving:
Nat Anthem, Yoga Flame, So Ghetto, Thank You, The One, and Popular Demand.
3 of those songs dont break 2 minutes..and So Ghetto is only 1:16..
This leaves us with 14 minutes worth new songs..
With all the hype..i wanted more.

ReplyDeletecomparing this to no ceilings is absurd and baseless. no ceilings has more tracks but weaker lines. it's just wayne talking the same shit in every song. lupe's mixtape is short. what do you expect? 60 mins of high quality fire? this is just a teaser to the album. it takes significantly more work to do 10 mins of quality than 60 mins of same ol' with occasional one liners..
This Mixtapes sounds cool, I might join in.The only movie of these I've seen is There Will Be Blood, which I liked a lot although I don't remember much of the family story.
