  2. @ Jimmy

come on now dude they've been friends for a while now, way before this whole domestic violence incident. would u just cut out you're friend over one incident that they're trying to get help for?

plus no matter what he's done the kid's talented as hell. No one can deny that

  4. CoSign Jimmy,

I know Lu and Chris have been cool prior to "the incident" but as public figures, I am just not happy to see Lu with dude after "the incident",smh. Lu trying to get that respect of being seen by the majority as the top emcee in the game now....but at what cost? I guess my expectations are too high. Lu's quote about him not wanting to be remembered if he turns out for the bad echoes in my head....I am not anticipating that day, but I can't help but notice this shit and I am not feeling it.

  5. If you are what you say you are
    A Superstar
    Than have some fear
    Cause Chris Brown is here
    And he'll knock you out
Cause he's the new Ike, Ike , Ike, Ike, Ike, Yeah!lol

  6. @Jimmy & ArmyGirl

Lupe turning out for the bad is not likely to happen and on the VERY outside chance it does, it's not going to be because of Chris Brown.

The two were friends prior to Brown's incident & it is times like these where you need all the (real) friends you can get. If Lupe were to desert him for what happened with Rihanna, I would lose respect for Lupe because if that's your friend, you support them... through thick & thin, good times and bad.

It's amazing that people are going to allow one incident to define Chris Brown for the rest of his life & career. Similar to the whole Michael Vick situation, people need to understand sometimes people make mistakes.... no one's perfect. You take it in stride, get help and you learn from it.... that's what life is about: learning from your experiences.

  7. @ Mr. Genius,

That "one incident" is an incident that Mr. Brown has yet to show any remorse for. He had sarcastically made comments about his "community service" work, wore an "OOps" chain at a event within a month or two of "the incident", tells Larry King that he doesnt remember anything (he could of just said no comment), jet skies looking happy without a care in the world within a couple of days after "the incident" and the list goes on and on....He is too egotistical for me. His fan base is primarily lil girls...I dont support that message! If CB was just a regular Joe, I would say Fuck it but he's not. He is a heartrob! But whatever, I guess it is what it is. It just hurts me soul to see young girls justify his actions, since as a society we are doing so by supporting dude in concerts and record sales.smh I'm done.

  8. All I am saying...Chris Brown was able to resurface in the game with a new album, tour, television appearances for almost killing a black chick. Meanwhile, Kanye is some where in cave for taking a mic from a white chick. Maybe, Kanye should have beat a black chick to resurface, lol Sick humor, I know but you know its true.

I don;t care if you said the issue is finished. You are being completely unfair judging chris brown by the whole incident. You seriously are going to continue bringing him down for that. So what if people are still buying his album, you really believe because he made a mistake his should not make a living. WHat then should he do with himself?

Lupe has everyright to support him and help him/ I am very very very sure Lupe spoke to him regarding the incident and is helping him out. You trying to judge Lupe on this is JUST PLAIN STUPID. Just STUPID. You must have eaten a big slice of good tasting self righteous cake.Lupe should continue to support him.

Stop whinging about the whole CB issue and forgive and forget. RIhanna has done it and is now stripping happily in front of camera. Move on now. Plus the performance was solid. Keep going hard Lupe.

  13. @Mr.IT, I said my piece and that's that. That is what blog comments are about. To say that I am being unfair to CB is funny. And your argument of my "wronging" is full of informal fallacies. You should look that up before attempting to reply. But if your smart, you would let it go and wait patiently for the next LupEND Blog post.

    THE END

  14. oh snap, sorry for opening this can of worms guys... you've all made valid points for and against (which I now agree with to some extent) so congrats for speaking up.

the big thing for me was how far is too far? what does a close friend have to do to not become a close friend anymore? to what extent does it need to be?

i wont ever meet chris brown and may not have a friendship the same as he and lupe but this is just me wondering how I would handle this difficult situation. peace!

  15. ^Oh Jimmy, Jimmy, Jimmy, lol. To answer your questions....its one of those situations that you wouldn't know until it happens to you. I mean even with my current view, who is to say that I would or wouldn't continue to support my friend if he or she did what they did? Hypocrisy is part of the game is what I hear they say. BTW, I am sure the dilemma is heighten even more when you and your friend are public figures. That is a whole different ball game from the average Joe/Jane! Because your actions are naturally be judged by everyone! One thing is known for sure that you will have to deal with consequences. Thats what "Superstar" is all about!:)

  16. Idk what I would do if a friend of mine did that, but a lot of respect would be lost. And I feel CB should have gone to jail for atleast a year instead of doing bs community service. I'm not trying to wish bad on anyone but he definitely did not face the right consequences for his actions. My two cents for y'all.
