Lupe said he isn't concerned about what he has to do — he's going to prove he's the best.
"I'm finnin' to house every single mode and arena I can get into," Fiasco promised. "If y'all had somewhere where it's live performances, I'm finnin to have the best live performances.
If it's mixtapes, I'm finnin' to have the best mixtapes. If it's albums again, it's gonna be the best verse. If it's the best dressed, I'm going hard as well."
Lupe said the yet-untitled mixtape will be him going in over other MCs' beats. "I got four days to figure it out," he said about the title. "I've been dabbling with some names. I don't know yet."
Concerning the production, Lupe said he's not going to let any original production go.
"Why waste it?" he said. "I still got my plan. I'm not finnin' to diverge off my plan and my career and how I wanna roll my music out." -via MTV

He wants to make the MTV list so he's dropping 2 mixtapes.. Fahrenheit VI and then prolly Fahrenheit VII either Q1 or Q2 of 2010... I do know that the 2nd mixtape will have to come out before Lasers... And it works in Quarters, therefore whatever Quarter the mixtape drops, then the following Quarter will HAVE to be Lasers

ReplyDeleteAt the Remember 2 Smile concert, Lu said "Now we got 4 more to go, no more LupEND" so that means he's got 4 more albums left.
Now looking at this interview:
1) He says I've got "three more albums after Lasers", which means four albums left to release.
2) He's already done with two albums done (I'm guessing including Lasers so his 3rd and 4th albums).
3) He says in the interview "it'll be another mixtape after that and an album after that". That makes me believe the rollout will be Fahrenheit VI (Thanksgiving), Lasers (early 2010, THEN another mixtape (later on down the line), then his 4th album.
No the 2nd mixtape WILL DEF come before Lasers

I said it before and Ill say it again, it works in quarters, so if u get something in 1 quarter, expect the next project in the following quarter... seeing how Fahrenheit VI is 4Q 2009, I can def see the second mixtape dropping 1stQ 2010.. and then the album 2ndQ 2010/3rdQ 2010
Thats just how it works, but I gurantee you that you wont see Lasers before those 2 mixtapes unless Atlantic randomly decides "HEY DONT DROP A 2ND ONE"
