You stan...it's not a classic until long after it comes out. It's not a guaranteed classic by a long shot. In fact, face it, considering the push Atlantic is giving it, it's probably going to be his worst. Classics are Binary Star's Masters of the Universe. Black Star. Aesop Rock's Float. Even Food & Liquor isn't at their level, in my opinion.
I mean I'm still a huge Lupe fan, I have every one, maybe except one or 2, of his songs, officially released or not.
Woah there. I'm not trying to start beefing with anyone online. But yes, I do think that Float and Masters of the Universe were better than Food and Liquor. But, then again, my tastes are much more underground.
Don't get it twisted, JoJo is the BIZ! She was forced to do that Leave Get Out as a 13 year old girl and even then she hated it but at 18 it's clear to everyone who has heard her new music that she is an RnB singer, and a GREAT one at that.
She may be white but she can still outsing and out-urban (I guess) 99% of the other black RnB singers out there. She's one of the best voices around without a shadow of a doubt. Go and check out "25 to life" and then her take on Drake's "Houstatlantavegas" and then come and tell me that she's not worthy.
This collabo will still be an urban collabo and it will be SO. FUCKING. HOT. You heard it here first.
