  4. despite what some people say, collab's are necessary to sell albums.

  5. meh.. if 75% of the album has other people all over it makes it worse for me. I buy the album looking forward to hearing "insert artist" not 10 other people.

  6. ^^ and Lupe's already working on the follow up to Lasers..

besides that, Cudi works on a collabo album right now...

Maybe they aren't even working together..who knows...

  8. As dope as the two artists are, I couldn't imagine what a collabo from them would sound like. O_o

  9. a cudi a lupe track would be nice and probably on the rocker/punk side of things cool beans. I want a lupe verse to let the beat build that would verynice. Exhibit A on the mixtape would be cool tho. Lupe is the Man Man. Hurt mE soul will get due recognition soon.

  10. Or maybe it's a Kid CuDi x Lupe collabo...

  11. Or maybe they happened to be at the studio at the same time...

  12. It'd be hard for lupe to collab with rappers such as kid cudi because lupes music contradicts kid cudi's esp with the high life and just having fun type while lupe focuses on the real issues domestic and around the world. So for them two to do a collab it would be hard to some up the two focuses each artists displays

  13. Lupe x CuDi ?
    i cannot wait.

and to the above anonymous, i'm sure whatever they decide on doing will be dope, despite the difference in material. i have faith in cudi... he can put a pause on the high life for a bit.

  14. Greatness.

BTW, Cudi doesn't always rap about the high life. Most of his album was about his problems in life and was very emotional if you listen to the lyrics. Even in is "high life" songs he usually adds a bit of emotion to it, like at the end of Pursuit of Happiness he is questioning why he always does this.

  15. yo sometimes maybe just throw in those collabs as a bonus..

"make her say" was really whack on that Man on the moon album...

but it did get cudi some pop buzz

  16. I would love to see this collab happen one day but it might not be true cause Lupe tweeted "if you don't hear it from me or @djbusy it may not be the complete truth!!!"

  18. To the person saying cudi raps about the high life, are u serious? Man on the moon has 2 songs about living life, and the rest talking about being lonely in childhood and coping with depression
