Matthew is nominated in the category Best Rock Entertainer and Lupe is nominated in the categories Best Hip-Hop/Rap Entertainer and Best Hip-Hop /Rap Album/CD at the 29th Annual Chicago Music Awards.

Update: 1st and 15th is also nominated, as Record Label of the Year.

    Nice, but why is the Cool even nominated? This is an annual award show and the Cool was a fourth quarter 2007 release.

    slow year for chicago?

    i support lupe and everything, but i can't justify voting for artists and labels as the best of the year, when they havent' even released an album

    Haha, i agree with the person that said 'slow year for Chicago.' I guess that's the case. Either that, or they just didn't care to look too far into anyone else.
