The evening of April 16, 2010, saw the die hard Hip-Hop fans of Milwaukee, WI all lined up at The Rave concert venue.
The thing that had the fans out and about was, The Steppin Laser Tour featuring: B.O.B., Lupe Fiasco, and a few local artists as well.
Once fans made it past security, they were sent to the lobby where almost two hours would pass before they were allowed to enter the concert area, The Eagles Ballroom....

ReplyDeleteYo I was at the concert and it was bananas!!!!!, Lupe put it down even though he was sick. No one was getting restless except when S-Preme was performing, people we're booing him because they have never heard his music. Everyone just waited chilled for the turnovers between sets and it was cool. I don't know where this writer's "DRAMA" was??? All that needs to be said is Lupe put it down, end of story, probably the best concert I've ever been to. I think you should find a new article because if someone just reads her article and doesn't read these comments they're gonna get filled with some mad hateration!!!
ReplyDeleteshe greatly exaggerated alot of her facts. She said the concert was advertised to start at 6pm, but the doors were supposed to open at 7pm and of course there is gonna be at least an hour wait before the first act. The wait times she said were probably exaggerated by at least 30 min each one, and i thought the crowd brought alot of energy and everyone was into Lupe's performance. I thought it was a great performance
