April 7th, 2010 - House of Blues - Boston, MA
Someone just uploaded this video of Lupe's concert at the House of Blues in Boston, MA [07/04/10] - Lupe performs the one song we don't really know the title of yet, some call it "Stereo Surge" but that's not official. I think it sounds great so far...who's that on the hook?
omg, I think I just came. Amazing.
ReplyDeleteSounds like Mr. Hudson.
Nice, from what i can hear lupe really goes in hard, and production is thight. We need more bars per song than what has been offered in all these others songs from lasers.
ReplyDeleteproduction almost sounds like hey champ?
ReplyDeletei want harder beats tho..its okey
ReplyDeletei think there might be third/fourth verses to every new song. they seem a little short
ReplyDeletethis kinda has a radio-friendly/single feel too it. I wouldn't be suprised if the guys from Hey Champ or some other pop/rock producer did the beat. as for who's singing on it, it sounds like a toss up between Mr Hudson and Matthew Santos with a little autotune. I guess we'll see when the tracklist drops!
ReplyDeleteBig chorus=perfect candidate for the first single
ReplyDeleteCan anyone hear what he's sayin?? any lyrics? even like a line or two
ReplyDeleteoh my gooooodness!
ReplyDeleteyes! yes yes yes yes yes!
it's called "Surge" I'm 100% sure
ReplyDeleteSounds like the best Lasers Track yet...
ReplyDeleteno more melodramatic whackness, I want my fist fire fury
Lasers is shaping up to be a classic in more than 1 million ways
ReplyDeletesounds more rockk/pop-ish, that's cool, but i hope the whole album isn't leaning that way..
ReplyDeleteDef. sounds like Mr. Hudson on the hook.
ReplyDeleteAnd there is more to the song, obviously.. Lupe is only performing bits of the new songs off Lasers. Leaving us wanting more, NOW.. classic Lupe : )
doesn't sound like Mr. hudson AT ALL

ReplyDelete"I hear it, the spirit, but I dont fear it. matter fact I spear it, right into the heart of the hardships." <-- dope ass opening line!
ReplyDeletei hear it the spirit and i dont fear it, matter fact i spear it, right into the heart of the hardships, i dont fear it,when this car is just a metaphor for my spirits, no hesitation no insurance, just a license to ill, gods hands on the wheel and my pedal to the ceiling, peelin....
ReplyDeleteit kinda sounds like it says "like a fat guy steerin, i bring it to the heart" also i dno that would also make sense haha
ReplyDeleteohhh it says matter fact i steer it...aight im done tryna decipher this
ReplyDeleteHonestly, I think it sounds like Santos with his voice altered. Auto-tuney almost.
ReplyDelete...this sounds so good man. I think I'm in love with this song.
ReplyDeleteIt's Kenna on the hook
ReplyDeletehow do you know,you dont
ReplyDeleteI swear, I've heard this song previously some where else. Can't put my damn finger on it though.
