I'm sick of getting my hopes up only to have them obliterated. I'm pretty sure JC said their album was coming out a year ago, same with Lupe's, same with Matthew Santos. Major killjoy.

I can't help but to think that he does everything to get his freedom back...

ReplyDeleteI have the same question, but I got to thinking and if JC tries releasing an album under atlantic I bet you it will get shelved... nothing agains JC I love their music but atlantic hates everything "non-mainstream" so i pray to God they try going another route than atlatic lol, and no it wouldn't go toward lupe's album deal because it's not a solo album and he doesn't go by lupe in the group.. :D
All I have 2 say is that LASERS better be 20,000,000 times better then F&L and The Cool combined or I'll be seriously pissed off for akll this waiting...............no one wants 2 wait 3 yrs for bullshit!!!!!!!!!!!

ReplyDeleteIf you can remember a little while back, Lupe announced that In the Jaws of the Lords of Death (JC's album) was to be released the same day as the Great American Rap Album. Since the latter no longer exists, and has been replaced by L.A.S.E.R.S., the two release dates may still coincide. Lu probably feels worse than all of us that his album isn't on store shelves yet. He's just hoping to whet our appetites and keep us interested.
