tbh, near the top, its also our purpose as fans to let the artist 'know'. the good or bad. i might be complaining too that an adorned artist was taking a year and a half to get the music to me. but coming soon is bound to happen one of these days. and its not like lupe had to just stay there quiet after pharell made that announcement
I highly doubt the release of this album is going to take no more than a week. There's really no deterrent other than the quality of the release, no Atl records here.

Atlantic records controls LASERS release date, Japanese Cartoon is controlling their own release date, meaning when they say that i will come out, then it probably should. The release date was never official, and this was mentioned last week.
Is Lupe playing games? I mean I remember once upon a time when stated numerous times that he was not part of Japenese Cartoon but now he is? And even in this releases....does that mean LASERS will be pushed again? I dont know what to make of this entire situation. Lupe deserves to be successful and I think he has full potential to be a true Superstar...either he doesnt want that or he his camp whomever is very disorganized (all over the place)!

Guys, this was obvious. If they saw this post could have (as it supposedly has) been EASILY misinterpreted, why then, not only write such comment title, but why not clear it up when people actually thought that July 4th was the date? Why not come forward and explain things up? It's common sense. Say I'm wrong then... But why, then, did they say in the above Facebook post that July 4th wasn't the official date set by them? Why would anyone think July 4th was the date, if they hadn't -supposedly- say anything about JC date? Of course, because they knew people had already interpreted all that has happened as July 4th being the date.
Alternatively, Lupe NEVER said JC Album was coming after the website was up; an angry fan got it out from him. Which means, if that angry fan hadn't asked Lupe straight up what happened on Twitter, we would most likely STILL be scratching our heads about what's going.
