ReplyDelete"Wtf do u mean by old lupe?"
lol i miss him too. he had a certain something that has diluted over time..not necessarily his work as an artist, but yall know what I mean.
I love the fact that Lupe is progressing and I can understand that time can change a person even a person as resilient as Lupe.....BUT I really miss the old Lupe :(
ReplyDeleteOn a side note, even though he shows his respect, Lupe is WAY better than Jay-Z. I think he knows that by now lol.
@ 3rd Anonymous... I KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN...
ReplyDeleteMY FAVORITE MIXTAPE =D hehehe
ReplyDeleteWhat i liked about the old Lupe was that there was a balance. He was trying to push positivity in his music but at the same time his style had a down to earth soulful feel to it and what he wanted he to do with his music was more simplified.
ReplyDeleteNow he's just more clear about what he feels his purpose is and he's seen all these things now from traveling the world and meeting people that his music is more abstract and rebellious
Old Lupe was like my role model in how i carried myself and conducted myself during a confusing-soul searching,my dude was authentic, and you could see his sincerity was real it was more REAL
