Trae took to Twitter earlier today and revealed some of the track titles from his upcoming mixtape "Can't Ban The Truth." The track with Lupe is called "Bad Don't Seem So Wrong."
There's no specific release date yet but we'll keep you updated. If you're in Houston, there'll be a listening event on August 21st. Check the flyer HERE
Lol yeah Lu would laugh...still don't mean the shit aint true. The south just needs to leave Hip Hop alone before they completely destroy it....besides andre 3000 your all an embarrassment to the game(that's a sandlot reference)
I'm from Louisiana and while I will admit the south does produce some awful rappers the truth is we also produce some top quality Lyrical monsters such as: Outkast(Andre 3000 AND Big boi), Goodie Mob, B.o.B, Ugk,Scarface, 8ball and MJG,Chamillionaire,Devin the dude,T.I. etc I could go on, but im basically trying to say that just because the south has a handful of bad rappers doesn't mean that we're going to destroy the game, because the west coast east coast etc everyone has GARBAGE rappers so dont put all the blame on the south......Peace and L.O.V.E.
First, let me state if you speak have facts or be quiet. Trae was given his own holiday on July 22, 2008 (there is an actual document) by the City Council (Council Member Peter Brown) and Mayor Bill White for his philanthropic efforts across the city that you have NO clue, idea, or mental stamina to wrap your small brain around. He brings big name artists to give people who would NEVER be able to afford tickets to their concerts an opportunity to do things they only imagine. Trae is a genuine, REAL, compassionate, and misunderstood man. I can speak on these things because I have stood on the front line with Trae since July 22, 2008 and I will continue to ride for my OG until I die. Trae Day is his way of celebrating the underprivaledge children and families in the City. How many times have you started school and had the "brand-new" excitement because you have new clothes, new shoes, new backpacks, new school supplies, etc????? That's what he does for this up and coming generation that I'm sure some of you don't have the balls to stand up and be.... A MENTOR
It comes when it comes!
ReplyDeleteOkay so its just an mixtape, and not an LP. Just hurry up and release it then. Noone gives a fuck bout Trae we need some new lupe.
ReplyDeleteyo...Trae has his own day down here in Houston.
ReplyDeleteChicago doesn't have a day for Lupe Fiasco.....looks like Chicago doesn't a give a fuck for Lupe LOL
just like Atlantic dont give a damn for Lupe either. Son, quit hating on artist you don't listen to. Saying something stupid like that is ignorant.
I hope Lupe retires very very very soon so all these fake hip hop heads stop waiting for new rap since Lupe is all they listen to
Haha... Trae doesn't even deserve to share a stage with Lu
ReplyDeleteDang...forget what they say about Chicago, the Anonymous-on-Anonymous crime is really bad around these parts..
