there's the money you make from the album, and then there's the money you make from the concerts..... anybody else think Lupe is caking it from the Laser's tracks even without the release?

I felt tht lasers would be a epic failure, due to the really bad flow in 'BMF' (even thou the lyric is fire)... and the leaked/relased, Drake/Kid Cudy imitation of 'What U want'..... But 'State Run Radio'(wich is Lasers) and 'Horn Synth'(wich should be Lasers) are putting my hopes up, not to speak of the amazing 'Beautiful Lasers' (wish should have been the official single of the album). BTW i always wondered... as 'Shining Down' was the 'supose' 1st single of the LUPEND/ABRA/LASERS album, and I'm beaming became the oficial...does tht mean shining down is not on Lasers?

ReplyDeleteI remember listening to an interview I think it was on Invasion Radio, and Lupe was saying that he wanted to release an album after Lasers in the last quarter. That would be sick, and maybe that album will feature Horn Synth..

As for 'what u want' I have to disagree, with most of u....Lupe is sick in rap and punk-rock, but tht pop side is poor: U can t see the genious Lu on it ( except where he sais: "Heart full of love potion, but is frozen");Lupe's voice didn't adapt to tht tune. And frankly is just an attempt to be like Cudy, since he's style, turned out to be so sick!But Thts my opinion as a fan, still love lu... and looking forward for lasers (specially the track prod. by needlz, those beats are dope)
I love that most of these comments do not pertain to the actual Lupe performance....BTW, am I the only one that notice that in 'Daydreamin' towards the end...Lupe almost bust his ass,lol. I love how he played that off...I swear Lupe and gravity,lol. But that's why I love dude.... not matter what....he is going to do what he wants...regardless!
ReplyDeleteAnd for the most part....I thought the BMF freestlye was nutz! He switched up the flow based on the rhythm of the song and added a Lupe twist(lyrics) to it. The lyics are crazy! To me it was a great introduction for niggas who were not aware of how sick Lupe is.

His flow was shitty. If he wanted to be like Rick Ross cool, if he wanted it to fit the beat cool, but it's still shitty.
