Lupe was interviewed on
92Q's Rap Attack in Baltimore during his current radio promo tour and talked about Da Pak and the early days, his label refusing to release his album, his father, the BMF record, Chicago & gangs, Rhymefest, deciding against signing with Jay-Z's label and more.
Bring balance to the force young Jedi Master Lupe

ReplyDeleteMoney Mayweather all day everyday even lupe knows that
The first interview in which there are questions that I can't answer. Which means a well done Q&A by the dj.
ReplyDeleteThank you again, Lupe. I'm going to play that clip about gang violence to my 18 fourth graders down here in New Orleans. The other day I heard one of my students humming the chorus to BMF and I could have said a lot of things to him, but I just said, "Please stop singing that song." So many kids lack hope and look up to the wrong people setting bad examples. Thank you for not being indifferent on the subject.
ReplyDeleteGreat Interview. Props to the DJ for doing his job correctly!
ReplyDeleteyeah i agree with all above. this was a well played interview, the DJ had the right questions...
ReplyDeletethis is worth watching the full thing
Dope...
ReplyDeleteSolid interview!
ReplyDeleteAgreeeeed! wonderful interview.. yay to Bmore!
ReplyDeleteMan, great interview seriously. I really respect Lupe for the purpose of why he put out Blowing Minds Faster. He didn't want to see the kids grow up with such a bad influence from Blowing Money Faster. Nothing, but respect for that. I wish this could be televised because some of the things Lupe say about the gangs and how we need to have hope need to be out there so the kids can adapt and look for better things then what they see on TV or experience. Lasers March 8, 2010. Everybody cop It definitely.
