Lupe recently visited Professor Michael Eric Dyson's Sociology of Hip Hop class at Georgetown University. During his visit, Tate Tucker rapped for Lupe. Check the video of it above!
Yeah he wasn't bad. I was laughing though at the end, he was just standing up looking at lupe, just waiting for Lu to be like "Shit, man! That was so dope, I wanna sign you to my record label right now!" Haha keep dreamin' son!
kid was nice.....if he has any mixtapes ill give him a listen....Your right it is about the art....if it was me id be blessed to sing in front of a artist record deal or not... It will be in history on my end.
If y'all wanna listen to new artists listen to that Talib Kweli mixtape The Community. Definitely a lot of artist with a lot of talent. Give it a listen if anybody decides they wanna find new people to listen to.
its really just showing respect. showing love for the rhymes and the art. and if your nice, like this kid is, you can impress. so the real question instead of why is why not? if you love to rap then you should be more than happy to spit in front of somebody who possibly inspires you
Critics everywhere!! This is Tate himself. The professor asked me to rap for Lupe who he knows personally...and whoever said I was sitting there waiting for a deal? ummm.....I go to Georgetown University and I think I know my logistics well enough to know what certain situations will result in. Thanks for the hate tho, I'll be sure to see you from the top soon!!
tate's the best no matter what anyone says he's going places this is ridiculously good and if u listen to interviews of tate, he's the most down to earth kid keep it up tate
What is it with people who ask to rap for rappers, it doesn't do anything for them, hate to say it but rappers just don't care about hearing that....
ReplyDelete^ it's just a return for the love and passion of the art of rhyming- that's all.
ReplyDeleteKid was actually good. And don't hate on him cuz he's rapping to Lupe. I think he likes to hear the inspiration he gives others
