After peaking at #40 last week, 'Out Of My Head' falls 3 positions to #43 on the Billboard Hot 100 this week. 'The Show Goes On' drops 8 positions to #30 and Lasers can be found on position #143 on the Billboard 200.
Ironic that I'm commenting on this one cause I never consider chart positions with any artist. I think it's only natural that fluctuation comes with the territory when you consider chart positions. Album is a gem for me regardless :)
Album is nowhere near a gem, and I think that's what hurting sales. Word of mouth would've pushed this album past gold by now, but you can't find hardly anybody outside of his new fans that doesn't think this album sucks. I mean the album is horrible. You've got good lyrics followed by weak pop beats and watered down wack hooks. I mean....Lasers is bad, but lets hope F&L2 is on point.
^ Exactly and times haven't changed. Good music is music, and Lasers ain't good music. I knew the album would be more pop friendly, but it was even worse than I imagined it would be. Album is just deplorable.

The manifesto behind it is all sunshine and roses though, it's okay to support that.
I agree with the first poster - Out of My Head is on the radio 24/7 I'm surprised it's only in the 40s. And if I Don't Wanna Care Right Now is the next single, expect album sales to increase because that should be a radio hit.

ReplyDeleteIt was a bad album with a less than a handful of decent songs on it. Not of the singles have been particularly good, not even for "pop" songs.
