Lupe Fiasco, The Cool Kids, Hood Internet, and Flosstradamus will perform at the University of Illinois at Chicago's "Spark in the Park" on Sept. 1st. It's a students only free concert. No further info's available as of now.
From UIC's website: "Due to recommendations from risk management and review of contractual arrangements, the music festival is open ONLY to UIC students, faculty, and staff with valid UIC i-cards."
So no. But you've got corn on the quad... so you've got that going for you (which is something).
Lupe is going to U of I anyways (got floor tickets for it) and it's an actual concert..not a 30 min cheap uic free show...but at least your school is one of the best in Illinois, Top 50 in the nation, Top 15 in public schools, Top 20 party schools, Highest mean salary of the nation's top 20 party schools and get to tell people when they ask what school you go to "I go to THE University of Illinois" and not have to say where is it...so you've got that going for you (which is something)...well actually you DON'T that's us LMFAO
U of I is definitely not superior to UIC by any means. First of all, our school's policy prohibits grade inflation. On the other hand, U of I does practice it. Secondly, we are in the heart of Chicago, which means we can easily have more fun and embrace more cultural opportunities. We're not in some southern Illinois town that no one really cares about. Come to UIC and take some classes here and we will see who the bigger retard is. =]
you are the retard if you think UIC is superior to U of I. I was born and raised in Chicago and just because UIC is in Chicago doesn't mean anything. If you choose a school based on its location your a retard. Harvard is in Cambridge and Yale is in New Haven. I bet right now you couldn't tell me where are these cities located on a blank United States map. Harvard and Yale are two of the top three schools in the United States...because of there big city and beautiful weather??? NO!!!! U of I is ranked #45 in the new US News & World Report while UIC is ranked #150. wow really?!?!?!? lol
Could UIC students bring a guest thats not from UIC?
ReplyDeleteIf you get and answer can you email lfoste6@uic.edu with the price, please.
DeleteNo guests are allowed Sorry.
