Lupe's concert at The Midland by AMC in Kansas City, MO that was supposed to go down on Oct. 6th was canceled as reported by the official Midland Website.
The previous cncl wasn't his doing & we don't know why this one was cancelled. Maybe the promoters money was funny. As for the show the generation lasers tour is phenom. He & the crew shut it down. I saw his show for the 1st time at HOB in BOS I flew there to catch.it and it was SRO a full band what HipHop artist does that. It was so good I'm going to Vegas to catch it again just to hear the changes and catch Sarah's solo heard she kills
Being from KC and working w/ shows b4 I am almost 97% positive this was promoter related. KC is notorious for janky promoters, lol. Smh. It's super wack too b/c that was the closest show a lot of smaller cities in the area could get to. I had to pull strings and get tix to Denver's show b/c friend's of mine knew how much I wanted to go. It just sucks I couldn't see him in my own city.
WHY!!! I was soo excited :( It was going to be a packed house I know it. The radio didnt advertise it as much but knowing the fans that were there last year we were all going to make it again. Everytime I see someone with a laser t-shirt on we have that little connection from your last concert and they always say I cant wait to see him come back to kc!!
This was a huge disappointment - I just moved to KC and I hate how no bands want to come here. Finally, when someone I want to see DOES come here, the show gets cancelled. This city sucks!
i am beyond pissed. i dont think i have ever been so angry in my life as i was and still am when i saw this.
