Food & Liquor Week: "He Say She Say" [Video]

It's day 2 of Food & Liquor week and today we're looking back at the video for "He Say She Say." After the Food & Liquor Webchat yesterday it seemed that quite some people didn't remember this vid so I decided to throw it back up on here for you to check out.

Very emotional video going along perfectly with the song. Video is starring Gemini and was directed by the good folks over at Impakt Studios.

  2. My favorite track off of Food & Liquor. The melody is amazing, verse arrangement original, with an amazing message of how important it is just to be a presence in someone's life, especially that of a child.

  5. 'Kick, Push' was the hook....introduction. I remember I immediately added Lupe on Myspace (lmao does is still exist?). And I said 'Oh this dude seems cool. Love the Jazzy flow'. But I admit, I was not into him heavily like that in the begining. I was somewhat like that the LASERS fan we criticize today, lol. Btw, it wasn't until the Travis Smiley interview where he explain Michael Young History. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4BaDG42lXMw music themes I was intrigued and decided to listen to 'He Say, She Say'. I kid you not....tears rolled down my face when I first heard it and from that moment on I knew I would forever be a fan. Last rapper that brought me emotion like that is Tupac. Which I found it ironic that Lu's father was not all that impressed by 'American Terrorist' because he was a Pac fan,lol (Lu said it on LiveStream).

Point blank, I became a dedicated fan after hearing 'He Say, She Say'. Whenever I make the case on how brilliant Lu is to people (which is frequent)....I refer them to this song 'Hurt Me Soul' and 'The Coolest'.

  7. Also, it would have been dope if Lupe performed all the songs from F&L at a show for the anniversary. I miss him performing 'He Say, She Say', 'Hurt Me Soul', 'American Terrorist' and Sunshine.

  9. Terrible video. Who wants to see close up of crying faces for four and a half minutes? Its mad depressing and kinda annoying. Love the song but cant stand the video. There is a fan made video which is much better. Also the kid in this is way too old to be portraying the kid from the song.
