Lupe is not only nominated twice, he will also perform at the BET Hip Hop Awards this year! The show will be taped at The Boisfeuillet Jones Atlanta Civic Center on Saturday, October 1st and premiere on the network on Tuesday, October 11th, 2011 at 8 p.m.

to suggest that he should perform songs like "BMF" and "go to sleep" (although I like those songs too)in a commercial arena is a little ridiculous because NO ONE knows those songs but his die-hard fans.. he has to perform something recognizable at an awards ceremony or else he will get blank stares from the crowd and people watching at home alike. hopefully people will come to know thoses songs too as he develops a larger fan base...but personally, I hope he doesnt perform them because it will do next to NOTHING to advance his career or his mission to inform the masses.
People are not ready for BMF or go to sleep so it would be very unwise to put it out there at this moment. If hes going to introduce those songs to the masses (which I doubt he has an interest in doing anyway) it needs to be done strategically. that is all.

He should perform Go To Sleep or Words I never Said atleast - you say no "one" knwos those songs those same people won't know words for Show goes on either they just nod there head to any beat they don't matter , but there is still alot of people watching and perfect time to showcase a track with some substance !
HE just did a show there this pass week so why couldn't he do 'all black everything ' After all Atlanta is mostly black. Maybe it would wake them up especially after Troy Davis' murder
