I think Lupe doesn't give a shit about anything anymore... He's autotuning and rapping over any beat in exsistance without giving any thought about wheather beat goes with the mood of the track... While FOTP and the Still speeding rmix show that Lu still has it lyrically, which I never doubted his lyrical abliity in the first place, FOTP makes me wonder if Lu still has it MUSICALLY. I've been a Lupe fan since 5th grade, (2007) first track I listened to was 'He Say She Say.' Ever since then, it has been amazing listening to how Lupe has expanded. Sure, some songs sounded rough to begin with, but giving it time and listening to each record more, you got a better visualization to where Lupe is coming from. So what, 'Lasers' wasn't that great cause of all the flashy beats. The message was always there. Listening to all the mixtapes from Lupe have been amazing. I don't know why so many people are complaining. Not all things stay the same. As time goes by, media changes, society changes, culture changes. We have to understand that. But who we are, that never changes. I still see Lupe as the same Lupe from 2007, just more aware of the current situations. If you all are complaining that he should rap about the same things as F&L, go listen to F&L. All I'm saying is that as fans we have to understand that music is music. F&L2:TGARA, something I'll be waiting for, because I know that Lupe has something special in store for us.
