Lu's right. The song's not putting women on some ridiculous pedestal. It's just a reality check on how role models and influence work. Bitches is bitches
The end was funny.. Rosenberg be talkin way too much trash bout nicki if you listen to the show lol
So I'm just getting back from a stop the violence cencert in Camden nj where I also live. In the past two week we have had 10 murders. When I heard Lupe was makeing a guess apperence I was hype. While I was standing front stage with my sign saying lupe fiasco and wearing my army cargo pants, when a group of kid ranging from 5-13 asked me who is coming on stage, when I replayed "lupe" they said who an then countinued saying "no waka no drake no wiz" I told them that lupe is much better then all those rappers and just to wait. When lupe came on stage I started a lupe chant. Lupe then talk for a good 30 sec and walked off stage without doing a song. One of the kids said "that n'gg@ was ass" and walked off. lupe if you read this I just wanted to let you know that you're still my fav rapper, but you could a have made a difference and opened a new world of rap to a young ears. I'm a little disappointed
^A guest appearance isn't a performance. They probably didn't book him to perform or they probably didn't book him at all. He was probably just there and asked could he go upstage and say something.
I hate when women think they have to conform to one extreme or the other. You can live in the middle ground, you don't have to be on a pedestal and turn into an absolute prude, and on the other end you don't have to be a loose lipped, loose hipped tramp. Just have sex appeal with self control, it's not rocket science.
Lupe is wearing the same thing for like breakfast club interview, rapfix and this.. Darn.. How many interview does he have in a day? Must be tiring..lol
That chick looks like she had a bone to pick with Lu about the song.
ReplyDeleteShe seemed offended.
