Idk if anybody heard J. Cole's album, but I'm pretty disappointed in it. I expected him to drop album of the year but it looks like Yeezus will take that title.
Agreed, J.cole started making songs with the likes of 2 chainz and young jeezy in truly yours 2 that was a little sign to what to expect in born sinner, from the come up to truly yours j.cole was putin out some dope shit now i'm not to sure where hes going from this, still a dope rapper though
I don't think 2chainz/jeezy have anything to do with anything. But the warm up/Friday night lights are two legendary mixtapes so I expect a lot from him. But his album is nothing special, esp lyrically.
It's funny b/c the first time I heard it I said the production sounds like something Lu could have on T&Y. Then I saw ealier Ye gave him credit on the track.
Yea born sinner is not that good,i was expecting alot and he disapoint in my opinion, compare to his first two mixtapes (the come up and warm up) this was poor to be honest and kanye is becoming annoying when hes put out song sayin hes the new god.
Henry ya hoover i know what i am talkin about, last good ablum/mixtape he did was g.o.o.d friday, jay z just sign good upcoming artists to roc nation and ruins them
What does jay z signing artists to roc nation have to do with kanye?? Jay/kanye did watch the throne (which was dope) and he ruined kanye? Listen to yourself. They've worked together since 2000
Ok hes not ruined kanye, but his watch the throne was nothing special just a full load illumanti shit, kanye did most of his first two albums himself (which were best songs) i got my opinon nigga
What has jay z got to do with signing artist he tryed to sign lupe remeber, imagine lupe signed for him he would of been ruined, and their song otis - only the illumanti succsed, no chuch in the wild they talk bout illumanti, not to mention their free masons handsigns and clothing but i dont belive in the illumanti shit i just think its a poor excuse for them to get more views
Yeah judging by the technique, there's a chance lupe wrote this, but we will never know.. Just like Dead Prez and Jay Elect denying ghost writing on Nas' Untitled Album, I think Lupe gonna do the same with the Yeezus Album. His gonna watch things unfold in silence.. Just a theory
I bet you Lupe has so many unreleased song and when he retires he'll put them outn he'll probs be able to make 10 albums with them songs and they will still be dope
I agree with you guys when I saw SNL I thought that track was lupe-like. I haven't heard much of Yeezus so I can't really comment on the quality of it, but Born Sinner wasn't that bad it had some lyrics. Nothing like his earlier mixtapes but his flow is entertaining. My only complaint is that all he seems to talk about is temptation from women and the production has too many samples of already recognizable beats.
I was thinking the same thing. How did everyone think Lupe was involved with the lyrics. A lot of people were talking bad about Kanye on here too... but
Yea but kanyes wordn is different and hes on his illumanti shit so it was weird to see him rap like this, i'm not sayn people knew but they must of felt this wasnt all of kanyes work
Definitely not and I wouldn't claim that. What I would say is that the rap had a very Lupe type cadence, especially with the choice of words. It just felt very Lupe inspired. So it's funny that it came out that he had a writing credit. I think anyone who says "I KNEW IT!" is lying lol. It's all luck. With any song I feel sounds like someone else (rock, pop rap or other) I always check the notes to see if that person has a writing credit. (Sia on Rihanna's "Diamonds" for instance)

Just goes to show a great rapper like kanye is inspired by lupes flow and music, which means lupe is the best rapper of all time, his infulence on rap is more bigger than what 2pac was in the 90's
I can see why you would compare him with pac, but lyriaclly lupe beats any rapper in any era/generation, don't think we will ever see the likes of a rapper like lupe EVER, fans should appreciate him not hate
Sean tha robot dain it again

DeleteIt's funny b/c the first time I heard it I said the production sounds like something Lu could have on T&Y. Then I saw ealier Ye gave him credit on the track.
ReplyDeleteLiar
DeleteLOL!! How do u know what I was thinking when I heard the song, smh.
DeleteSame cant wait! T&Y!
Deletenew slaves is the best track on kanye's album...its a bigger disappointment than j. cole's born sinner!
ReplyDeleteBorn Sinner is garbage?
ReplyDeleteYea born sinner is not that good,i was expecting alot and he disapoint in my opinion, compare to his first two mixtapes (the come up and warm up) this was poor to be honest and kanye is becoming annoying when hes put out song sayin hes the new god.
DeleteLupe dain it
ReplyDeleteKanye losing his touch needs lupe to do the work
ReplyDeleteKW is going rubbish since he started collabn with jay-z alot
ReplyDeleteU don't know what u talkin about guy
DeleteHenry ya hoover i know what i am talkin about, last good ablum/mixtape he did was g.o.o.d friday, jay z just sign good upcoming artists to roc nation and ruins them

DeleteObviously u do believe in the illuminati if u said all that. U sound ridiculous honestly
DeleteAnybody who does not believe in the Illuminati is completely naive! That's why Lupe can't get the platforms he needs because he won't sell out!
DeleteWhat platforms? He just doesn't make popular music. So Kendrick Lamar sold out because he seems to be having tons of success
Delete"The writer of the quotes for the ghosts. Who

ReplyDeleteHe got credit for it on the linear notes. What u talkin bout?
DeleteJ.cole - dead president 2
DeleteWhat about it?
DeleteJust be good to kanye
ReplyDeleteI bet you Lupe has so many unreleased song and when he retires he'll put them outn he'll probs be able to make 10 albums with them songs and they will still be dope
ReplyDeleteAw man i wish lupe would get more credit, mind of genius
ReplyDeleteYou could feel this wasn't kanye, it. Had a feelin lupe had something to do with this
ReplyDeleteLupe could be kanyes ghostwriter???
ReplyDeleteI wonder what made kanye think to put chief keef on the album
ReplyDeleteI hope he wasn't the one who wrote the 300 Romans line.
ReplyDeleteI bet he had something to do with that werewolf line...
ReplyDeleteLupe wrote all the double entandre, and metaphors on the track
ReplyDeleteLupe wrote verse 1 and 2, i dont know what chai the prnce and daft punk did
ReplyDeleteI doubt they chai dude put much on an input, I think they just included him to make it seem less obvious that its Lupe Fiasco work almost all the way
ReplyDeleteYea i think lupe did most of it, i wonder what other things he's wrote for kanye
DeleteI'm guessing you don't listen to Cyhi, but Cyhi probably wrote the hook and Lupe did some of the first verse and most of the second.
DeleteIt's nice to see Ye still eff with RhymeFest. . .
ReplyDeleteI agree with you guys when I saw SNL I thought that track was lupe-like. ReplyDeleteThis explains why I felt Lupe in my bones, the instant I heard it.
ReplyDelete0:37-0:55, especially.
Thank you for the confirmation.
I'm not buying that all u guys knew lupe was behind those lyrics before it was revealed.
ReplyDeleteYou can buy it for £4.99 on i-tunes
