Video: South Side Warriors [Documentary ft. Lupe Fiasco's father, Sensei Gregory Hamza Jaco]
As you may know, Lupe has practiced martial arts since he was a kid and has 4 black belts. This documentary from 2002 showcases the martial arts tradition that lives in Chicago due in large part to Lupe's father, the late Sensei Gregory Hamza Jaco and his Tornado School of Martial Arts. It also documents Stan McKinney and The Mount Carmel School Of Martial Arts, and features a performance from Dead Prez. Definitely a good watch, and you may recognize a familiar face at 5:13.
Thanks to Lupe for sharing this, and click HERE if the above video doesn't work!
