    1. Snitches 2 is more straightforward than the original which is ironic as hell considering that snitches 1 is much more shallow in concept.

  3. Damn dude it's not that serious lol. You won't listen to the album now because of this song? Lol that's one of the most irrational statements that I've heard all night regarding his last two songs. What if it turns out to be one of the best albums Lupe has put out in his career? Dude before you have a stroke, take a huge breath out of your inhaler and calm.. down. The world isn't ending lol

  4. This is so catchy and remind me of Wolf Of Wall Street (+1)

  5. Wooow why calm the fuck down. This isnnothing serious! Its just lupe havin fun and spittin some bars. After all that political stuff i can understand he just needed to fool around a bit and just make music that is as deep as his average stuff.

  6. Some people have never heard early lu, he can do what the fuck he wants this is how he was feeling at the time and its dope as hell. It is music fs

  7. I'm not trying to hear that bullshit "Lupe sold out" shit anymore, niggas been sayin he sold out since Kick Push, tbh I'm glad Lupe is doing whatever the fuck he wants now, when Lasers came out, yall niggas had a huge uproar about how he was fallin off and that he dumbed down, then he went back to his roots on Food And Liquor 2 and then yall said that he was too preachy, face it, Lupe fans don't know what the fuck they want and they're the worst fans of any rapper I've seen, Lupe has millions of fans and they don't even buy his albums but be the first ones to say "I miss Food And Liquor Lupe" when that album has no certification.

  8. I'm glad lupe is having fun, do you Lu, im kinda wondering if this song is about that whole chilly ex wife lawsuit incident... Hmmmm

  9. Like Lu said "Constantly being held to my own standard". Who are you comparing Lu to? His damn self! And who complains about free music? The lyrics are there they always have been in all his work. Flow and beats are different but he proved his point on FOTP. "Spit alot of meh over jams of the year" and I believe FOTP is highly sleeped on. So everybody hit up rap genius. Read between the lines. And let the man have fun!

  10. Listen to the word sheep....

The message is still the same...the style is different

    God Bless Lupe Fiasco

  11. That guy above has a solid point when he said that Lupe has millions of fans who always says "I miss the Food and Liquor" Lupe but that album has no certification, Why is that?? Most of yall probably never even bought that album and yall call yourselves Lupe Fiasco fans? I myself have two copies of Food and Liquor so how that classic album thats been out since 2006 hasn't struck gold yet? Someone please answer that question cause I dont understand it!!

  12. If you ever watched and read the interviews, Lupe said this album was going to be his own interpretation of ratchet without fully being ratchet. Even though these songs won't be on the album he's probably just giving everybody an idea on the sound.

  13. No one asked for her personal opinion tho. I agree with toy t

  14. I know we all entitled to our opinions, but please with these tracks you gotta take a sec and really listen. You gotta bump it a few times, styll. Like what hes sayin isnt disrespecting women at all, its a thing hes doin. Its like street communication with the bars and metaphors still there. Im not sayin youre not listening, im just sayin take it in a bit more, its pretty good

  16. Old Lupe from f&l would bitch slap new Lupe for this haha. I ain't hating on Lu. He is a grown ass man and he can do whatever the fuck he wants to do but I just miss that old sound + lyricism only he can do. Miss that real ish. He hasn't been the same since lasers.

  17. damn what everybody trippin for? when lazers was comin out and FnL2 came out everybody said the same thing lupe has great lyrical ability but his beat selection is weak as hell but know i think it's better. pls u need something to ride in the car with n this is one of those songs and i can guarantee the lyrical ability is still their. Great song

  18. Y'all complaining are fake fans that only wanna hear him in ONE lane musically but don't get the storytelling in how both songs correlate and how it's about Chilly Chill's wife (think back to the TMZ) article y'all are so fickle and fast to say an Artist has sold out y'all don't deserve to be fans at all. Songs dope lyrically, musically and content get over him saying the B word y'all sound like a bunch of 14 year old virgins

    ReplyDelete
  19. This is dope. The ppl saying this is garbage don't listen to lyrics. This is some sick storytelling. Ppl latch onto sounds. Oh this "sounds" like "real hip hop" or this "sounds" like he "sold out." Or they hear a word like "bitch" and say Lu sold out taking the entire context of the word usage out of the equation. Y'all are some unthinking sheep that have some seriously narrow truncated views on "right" and "wrong." Flow's sick too. Too fluid.

P.S. Do some of you ppl even understand what the word "sell out" means? It means changing to get compensated monetarily. This is a free song Lu released for fans. FREE. How is that selling out?

    1. Tell em again plus it's storytelling of how Chilly Chill's wife snitched hence the 06 line in the beginning I swear for Lupe fans that claim to be about the lyrics y'all sure do only bitch about the beats generally and only want him in one lane but yet say he's underrated. We're why he's so underrated it's OUR fault tbh

    2. Real talk at both comments!

  22. I'm note sure if I really like it... It ain't real hip hop like Lu can do. I wrote an article about his new "old school love" on my hip hop artbloggo check it out , it's legit ;) http://bluematter.over-blog.com/lupe-fiasco-old-school-love

  23. At first I was a bit... surprised. But after listening to it a few times I actually like it. The beats are different from older songs, but it's still lupe.

  24. I think that second verse is about lupe

  26. I agree with Toy T, I support lupe fiasco throught everything, it different music, his album is goin to be his opinion and take on rachet, and fans like you are juding him on this 1 song? Lmfao, fake fans smh!

    ReplyDelete
  27. For all you retards losing your shit over this. Listen to the song...I mean really listen to it. This is more "Lupe" than anything he has put out recently. Its a commentary on snitches in the game. This song is pretty similar to "handcuffs." This is what lupe does...this is what he came into the rap game with.

    ReplyDelete
  28. jus heard this track , i think its ok , im surprised at some of the other comments , like with any artist ever, you like some you dont like some, and some are just ok .....

    ReplyDelete
  29. I think this may be inspired by Chilly's wife coming out and saying Lupe had some drug money that should be hers...if anybody remembers that from a new month back..

But I like this..it's dope and these songs are obviously satirical/parody (you should know how this guy operates by now)

  30. On the real though, everything Lu has been putting out after SLR3 has been GARBAGE! I'm sorry but c'mon. True Lu fans KNOW LU. I'm probably Lu's biggest fan. I have everything he's ever released, no lie. All 3 Fahrenheit's including the 2 from Gemstones; It was written, Friend of the People, Enemy of the State, all of his albums including the one that most people hated on - Lasers, and even all of the unreleased songs. I'm a nerd when it comes to music so I make it a point to find it all lol. Said all to to say that this isn't the Lupe of old. The Lupe the true fans have known to come and love. Lupe is trying to fit in and it ain't workin at all. Still love this dude, but he just needs to stick to the script.

  31. The man he's talking about in the song is blowing money, selling drugs and believes he has power overall (power over his lady, his manager etc.) And when he gets cough, he's saying oh no....

If your doing F'd up stuff your bound to get F'd in the B.

I feel like that what Lu is trying to say in this story.
