from sources that i've ran across...the album itself is done. i think the finishing touches are probably promo, distribution, artwork and the like. just making sure all the ends of business are in the right place.

ReplyDeleteLupe hasn't disappointed me with anything he's ever released so I'm sure this will be a crazy album. Every project had its own takeaway but we're all masterpieces. I have the feeling this will be no different. It may not be what everyone wants but I already know I'm gonna love it. No expectations are needed when he creates something because above all things, he always spits the Raw truth. From the hood to the Oval Office he's been keeping it real since Day 1.

ReplyDeletesometimes i dont get him. he said "all black everything" and "form follows function" were is favorite record... but they're not that listenable or don't have radio longevity... i mean some rap artists know a smash when they make it. i just dont get those... so far nothing on t&t excites me except those b-sides he dropped snitches and 30's

DeleteLol!!!! Atlantic won't promote him bc he's not a 360 artist. I remember him talking about in an interview for FL2. So that is prob a large reason we've never seen them promote him. Especially when they let him do as he creatively as he pleases. I think that meeting he had with iTunes could be be a clue to the album droppin fairly quick once all the pieces business wise are in place. I don't think this album will drop in the typical manner he's always released them.
