Throwback Thursday: Lupe Fiasco ft Yummy Bingham - Much More
On the intro to arguably his most iconic mixtape to date, Fahrenheit 1/15 Part 2: Revenge Of The Nerds, Lupe flows over the classic by De La Soul featuring Yummy Bingham, produced by the late J Dilla. This joint also happens to have my favorite Lu quote ever, "My greatest enemy is my inner me" ... love this track! Shout out to @DeandreBask for picking this week's throwback!

No more Throwbacks it just clutters the actual news, didn't even know about the Dodgers thing
ReplyDeleteYou didn't know about the Dodgers thing? You mean the thing that was the top post on the site for 2 days?
DeleteSeems to me like the throwbacks aren't the problem. Seems to me like you just need to visit the blog more often.
Cause that's the right way to treat a fellow member.
DeleteAyeee this is my jam!
ReplyDeleteI don't see how the throwbacks are a problem. If you wanna make sure you don't miss a post, just scroooll dude. It's that easy.
Hahah. That was actually funny! XD
Delete(Coz its true!!)
Wow I was hoping this would make the throwback posts. This very track right here is my all time favorite lupe fiasco song to date. Ever since I heard it years ago, I couldn't get enough of it. Shoutout to the dude who picked this song for the post this week.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE this song! This one, Handcuffs, and the I'm Coming Freestyle are my favorites off of Revenge of the Nerds. It gives me a feeling of self sufficiency, and unity: humbleness and pride. And this was before his voice got deeper. I love his current, deeper, voice as well....lol
ReplyDeleteThat I'm coming freestyle though!
DeleteRight, that freestyle was a significant foreboding track to his mainstream entrance.
Deleteone of my favorite Lupe tracks ever
ReplyDeleteProbably Lupe's most underrated song...and that's saying a lot.
ReplyDelete"And it's gon' be PPV, won't be back free / you gon' need scratch to see me rematch with me"
