DeleteI know the real date but shhh crazy freeystyle tho
ReplyDeleteLupe Fiasco is back and back strong as ever!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteDamn! D:
ReplyDeleteWhat makes this freestyle even better is when u actually watch him. If watch his hand movements and body language...he's actin out what he is saying. Which makes it seem so effortles for an off the top rap on a beat, and never break stride. I've never seen him so animated in a freestlyle. I have to say I think Lupe is getting better, which is beautifully scary. #TetsuoSeason
ReplyDeleteIt'll be funny remembering when people said they wanted FNL OR the Cool lupe back (both Classic albums" but I feel after TY they'll feel he's now in his prime
DeleteExcuse my typos. For some reason my touch screen is acting funky. However, yeah. I can def see that happening. I felt like we haven't seen his best yet when F&L2 dropped. Looks like he's gettin that buzz back too.Which is great! He really deserves his seat at the top.
DeleteThe freestyle was nothing earth shattering (for lupe's standards) but it was very good for an ACTUAL FREESTYLE which rappers seldom do at these radio stations..
ReplyDeleteThis doesn't surprise me in the least bit, I've always said Lupe is the best & purest lyricist in all of hip hop, the mainstream just don't rock w him too tough because he don't rap mainstream stuff. But as hip hop fans begin to want more substance Lupe will be more widely accepted
ReplyDeleteSTOP... I've been spending my recent days taking in some pretty good freestyles. Logic's second half, Audio Push- Octane, Chance, and a bunch of old Lupe freestyles....... This was the greatest of them all. No errors, straight off the top, entendres and metaphors constructed out of thin air, animation, relevant subject matter all drawn from the environment, and he found a way to piece it all together. THIS. WAS. LEGENDARY. and whats fucked is that I feel like he can do better..... it just doesn't make sense!
ReplyDeleteNot an actual freestyle but still very dope. Luv u Lu
