With everything I've heard that's strictly for T&Y, this album is going to be damn good. Can't wait for that mixtape either!
ReplyDeleteToo awesome... its TETSUO SEASON
ReplyDeletePizza man don't come here no more.
ReplyDeletePlayed it more than a 100 times today, lol
ReplyDeleteThis might be the most I played a single song on repeat... Besides SLR 1... Oh, and The Coolest... Oh, and maybe He Say, She Say... Lol
DeleteON REPEAT !!! #GOAT
ReplyDeleteThrowing rocks at the bus, and other ghetto fun.
ReplyDelete#Relatable
lupe is on point constant strike rate
ReplyDeleteThis is garbage, outside of the hook.
ReplyDeleteI know. I am more excited for the mixtape. Can we get Skulls already too?
Deletefire
ReplyDeleteThough it's layered....I expect something better from a veteran in the game...(no pun intended since it's Veterans Day)something like haile Selassie or something as a single.
ReplyDeleteYou must not really know the situation then huh? It's all good.
DeleteYea I do....shortly after I said the statement I said....Atlantic records....this is a mix tape song!!! I still bought it, much
Deleterespect lupe. Atlantic records should recognize that he's a veteran and though it's a good song it's not A good choice for a single. Lupe is the best there ever was in hip hop. Excluding nobody.
He needs to find a happy medium with Atlantic. His version of Airplanes was awesome but...he gave it away. That was an Atlantic chosen production apparently. Stereo Sun was also an awesome track but it did not make the album. The two strongest songs. Just play the game and then branch out and do your own thing. Battle Scars is such a boring song. I can't wait for his mixtapes, Skulls, then Indie Lu.
DeleteI would never want it to be the last one since I don't want to see him retire, but anyone wonder if he ever thinks in the future about the LupE.N.D. Album he was planning?
DeleteNo artist ever retired from hip-hop. I don't think Lupe will be the first .... you always have something to say or contribute musically.
DeleteTrue. I'm just curious to see if he ever wants to explore the concept of the album. Didn't it have something to do with Michael Young?
DeleteNo I understand. I'm just curious to see if he will ever explore that concept for an album. Didn't it have something to do with more of the story for his character Michael Young?
DeleteNot sure on that...
DeleteAh. It's all good.
DeleteAtlantic records.... this is a mix tape song!!! I still bought it, much respect lupe.
