The writing for Lupe Fiasco's "Skulls" album is on another level...literally!

#TetsuoSeason As a creative I've always been interested in the way climate effects creative output both as a conceptual device and as a literal influencer. Does temperature effect temperament? Does being exposed to a range of different climates produce an increased variety of themes? Tetsuo & Youth was an experiment in that from the conceptual point of view although I didn't keep strict track of when and where certain verses were written. The majority of #Skulls is being written in the air i.e. on airplanes and it is adding another level to the experiment mostly does altitude effect theme? The answer in that case is yes it does. A high level of pure abstract cross-referenced narrative comes out when I write in the air as opposed to on the ground. For example portions of "Animal Pharm" we're written in the air. It's very interesting how pragmatics can effect abstract syntactical structure while conserving the clarity of semantical narrative. I'm starting a guild for high-level MC's over the next year or so.
