To celebrate the 8th anniversary of The Cool, Lupe announces details for 5 upcoming albums!
Lupe started 2015 off with a bang by releasing his fifth studio album Tetsuo & Youth then followed it up with his first official release as an independent artist, the mixtape Pharaoh Height 2/30. It appears that Lupe does not plan on slowing down any time soon!
The 8th anniversary of Lupe's sophomore gold-certified album The Cool was just a few days ago. Since then, Lupe has released tons of information about future plans. First, we can expect SNDCLSH to finally release their Don't Drop The Flag EP before the end of this month. Next up, Lupe announced that he will be releasing 3 full albums in 2016. The first of those will be #DROGAS which will include a track titled "Mural Jr.". (It appears that Lupe may have released the cover for #DROGAS a while back as well). There isn't any information yet on what the other 2 albums coming in 2016 are but speculation is that it may be previously announced Skulls with Soundtrakk, Black Vietnam with S1 or M.I.L.K Is For Pussies with Japanese Cartoon!
Finally, its been well documented that Lupe has been working on the sequel to his sophomore effort for some years now. We will have to wait a little while longer as Lupe announced that The Cool 2 will be dropping in the winter of 2017, possibly on the 10th anniversary of the original album. 2 years is a long time, but judging by the above artwork for the project, it will be well worth the wait!
Which of these projects are you most excited for? Tell us in the comments below!
I could be reading this wrong, but I assumed Winter 2017 meant like January or February. As just a little over a year.

ROY
Anyone know what ROY is? Given that SNDCLSH EP was announced by Sky I'm assuming ROY is NOT the Black Vietnam project
