It is officially 2016 and 364 days from now, Lupe plans to have added 3 more albums to his catalog. First up will be DROGAS and Lupe recently took to Twitter to release some artwork for the project. Above is a picture of a pistol, money, jewelry, car keys and a cross which he captioned "Don't Ruin Us God Said", a lyric from "T.R.O.N" off Tetsuo & Youth. Below is a photo of the 1986 book by Jawanza Kunjufu, "Countering The Conspiracy To Destroy Black Boys Vol. 2" which he captioned "I'll Do My Best".
It's not clear yet whether these will be 2 separate album covers for DROGAS or if "Don't Ruin Us God Said" & "I'll Do My Best" are song titles from the project with these being the accompanying artwork for each. Stay tuned for more info!
