This weeks Amajanese Item is a 9-inch tall kick ass robot called PLEN from the Japanese company Systec Akazawa which was released last year. It can ride around on a pair of roller skates or a skateboard.
The tiny marvel of technology has 18 joints and uses a built-in 3 axis accelerometer to walk and dance. It can be controlled via special software running on your PC or even with a bluetooth enabled mobile phone. Billed as a desktop hobby bot, PLEN can roller skate for about 25 minutes on a single charge of his battery, kick balls (yeah), pick up objects and cause mischief if programmed to do so!

PLEN is available in Japan for about $2000..
