Lupe opened things up the right way. His girl Nikki Jean was KILLIN everything and was a nice cherry on top to Lupe’s songs. I would’ve liked to hear a few older cuts but he just went with “Kick, Push”, a verse of “I Gotcha”, and he ended with “Daydreaming” as far as the 1st album went. I was mad excited that he did “streets on fire” AND “little weapon”, which are my 2 favorite non-singles on The Cool. He did all the singles from that as well. Good way to kick off the show.
