CLASSIC SHIT: DJ JEDI with LUPE FIASCO x KANYE WEST @ CiRCA [video]
During the Glow In The Dark Tour 2008; DJ JEDI had the honour of performing with KANYE WEST & LUPE FIASCO at CiRCA. During the after party, while LUPE FIASCO was performing to a packed house; KANYE WEST decided to jump onto the stage from the crowd to put on a surprise performance.

Kanye introduces his dad to Lupe and Pharrell.
It's a short clip but it's pretty cool because there's not a lot of
footage out there that features all 3 of them together.
Lupe Fiasco Won't Join Kanye At The Show In Paris
According to MTV France the support acts for the
GITD tour in Paris are going to be Estelle, NERD and The Roots.
Maybe Lupe will join Kanye for other shows in Europe.
But honestly I'd prefer to see a full solo show from Lupe anyways.
As Lupe stated in a recent interview he'll be performing
overseas again soon.
I'll be at a show for sure if he's going to
perform anywhere near Germany.
But we'll just have to wait and see what happens in the next few weeks.
I'll keep you posted
thanks to Mehdi for the info

No info if it's GITD....
and the first half of the shows are definitely not gonna feature Lupe
because he's on College Tour during that time.
Actually no one knows so far if Lu is gonna join Kanye at all on this tour.

Update: The Glow In The Dark Tour Hits Europe
The tour will feature the full American production which thrilled reviewers all across the U.S. and according to the LA Times, "raises the bar for arena tours as no show has since U2's 1992 Zoo TV breakthrough. It's that innovative and galvanizing."

Glow In The Dark Tour Europe - Another Date
After the date in Paris, Bercy on Nov. 20th has been
announced a few weeks ago here's another one:
15-11-2008 19:30:00 | The NEC Arena, Birmingham
there's still no further info about guests,
and no official statements from the label or Kanye.
So all we can do is hope for more dates and some cool guests,
Lupe would be high up on my wishlist of course.
thanks for the mail Mehdi !
Lupe Fiasco - Glow In The Dark Tour MSG - Review
Ok...this is a little late..
but I wasn't able to check my mails for a couple of days
and this still deserves an entry
So..here it goes:
This concert would’ve been a more enjoyable experience for me if:
a) the lady sitting across from me on the train hadn’t burst out crying.
She brung down my spirit a little bit!
b) my dumb ass hadn’t walked all the way around the arena just to get to the entrance
c) there weren’t so many tall people standing in front of me d) if the security guards weren’t being such douche bags
e) if the arena had sold some Lupe merchandise (Seriously, not even a poster!)
f) if my ticket hadn’t cost $180
However, once Lupe came on stage, all of that was forgotten. He killed it. The guy has so much energy, kicking and pushing and jumping around on stage as if he was high off caffeine. It was like he was another person (Carrera Lu, maybe?)
He first came on stage when N.E.R.D. did “Spaz;” he, Teyana Taylor and Pharrell were doing that corny, running-man type of dance. I don’t know what they were doing, but it was corny yet cool at the same time because there was a bunch of them doing it on the stage all at once. Then, N.E.R.D. did “She Wants to Move” and brung out a bunch of girls on stage, which I was not pleased about (Jealous, much? Maybe…) I just assumed that they were backstage groupies.
Here's a clip of Spaz
Anyway, back to Lupe’s set…I swear I blushed when he sung Jill Scott’s part to “Daydreamin’.” Nowadays, rappers swear that they’re rappers-turned-singers, but Lupe surprised me. And he was smiling a few times during his set. (AH! *Groupie Alert*) For the coup de grâce, he did “Superstar.” Towards the end, he, Matt Santos and Bishop G “pass ed out” and Lu clapped his heels while lying on his backs. I’m thinking, “This dude should’ve headlined this tour!” After his performance, the crowd was chanting his name (As they should! All hail the king!)
I enjoyed Kanye’s set. I didn’t realize the guy had so many hits. No doubt, I’m a fan of his, but towards of the end of his set, I kept thinking, “Please do ‘Touch the Sky”!” (Just so Lupe could come back on stage once more.) And, sure enough, he did! That was the last song Kanye did, until he surprised us with a guest by the name of Jay-Z (BK, ALL DAY!!!) “Blueprint III, Coming Soon...”
All in all, I enjoyed myself. And I will be waiting for Lupe to come back to NYC (only this time I won’t wait until the last minute to buy a ticket and end up paying more ½ of my paycheck.)
thanks to igalaxy13 for sending this in

Quick Glow In The Dark Tour Update - MSG
To all the NERD fans out there that go to the MSG show tonight:
In the hopes of catching their flight to Switzerland , N*E*R*D will go on at 7:30PM tonight and not 8:30PM as scheduled. Get there early!
I guess that means Lupe will go on stage as the 2nd act tonight.

Glow In The Dark Tour In Europe?
There's a scheduled Kanye West concert in Paris, Bercy on November 20th.
They use the same picture as the Glow In The Dark Tour
to promote the event and on the ticket site it says
that there gonna be some special guests.
No further information was released.
And no other European dates are available so far.
We can't be sure right now if it's really the Glow In The Dark Tour
like the one they play/ed in the US.
But it really looks like it.
And if it's the GITDT...hopefully there gonna be more European dates
and hopefully Lupe will join Kanye again.
We'll keep you updated on this.

Glow In The Dark Tour Cincinnati - Review
The Glow In The Dark Tour is back
There are still a couple of dates left on the tour
and here's a review from the show that went down yesterday
So I just got home from the Glow In The Dark Tour. If you don't know what that is it's Lupe Fiasco, N*E*R*D, Rihanna (who wasn't there) and Kanye West.
Ever since I heard Kanye (When Through The Wire first came out... right when he started his rap career) I've wanted to see him live. Hell, he's the main reason I went to the concert in the first place. Shit, Lupe and N*E*R*D are tight too but Kanye is a huge influence on me and in my life. Graduation helped me out a lot this year figuring out shit in my life and Kanye will always be my fav. artist of all time.
Anyways, the Lupe set was dope. Then N*E*R*D came on, played Rock Star (which was fucking amazing), and then Kanye came on.
I'm just going to say one thing. That concert changed my life. THAT is what music should be... inspiring. It has honestly inspired me to do something that touches people in a way that that show did to me. Kanye is my idol, honestly, and it just made every other concert and show I've seen look like garbage.
