  1. so l.a.s.e.r.s. stands for something?

    1. You'reignorant and i dont blame you its the medias fault but yes it stands for something and i did notice the symbol but it just means he is resisting

    2. The A stands for anarchy, the circle for order. Anarchism is just socialism without compulsion or leaders. If you read Kropotkin, or Godwin, or any of the great anarchist thinkers, you'd see that a lot of what Lupe says does fit the profile of someone influenced by anarcho-syndicalism.

  2. Lupe Articulates Symbolic Enigmas Really Swell

    I could not resist.

  10. It is possible if so though which one do you think is "Shining Down"...

I would probably say "#5. We Will Not Compromise Who We Are To Be Accepted By The Crowd." because of the lines where it seems he is satirically using autotune...

  11. @ harud...notice the @ sign...stop reading too much into shiit. "where I'm AT like a in a circle..." it's just a line buddy

    ReplyDelete
  12. Your correct.. but the @ is the more obvious reference.
But thats not the only possible reference.
    Plus Lupe has said it time and again that he was raised in a somewhat anarchist household. Heres a quote;

"let me first reinforce my stance on national politics and the American System based on a mispractice and abomination of true democracy...

i have no faith in it...never have, never will...a mindset instilled at a very young age by a pro-active, Black Panther party promoting, revolutionary father and a very intellectual damn near anarchist mother with more than enough facts to back it up"

Shining down is also a good example of him hiding personal messages/events in his songs

  13. What if I want to do this because I want to be accepted by the crowd? Does that mean I can't be in this movement because it is a contradiction of #5?

  14. You are missing the point and it's sad. This society needs change desperately. Why has nobody actually made a comment about how right this Manifesto is? Lupe is fighting for a higher cause and yet it seems even his fans can't see the truth.

There's only two ways, down or up, walk in the light or succumb to the darkness that preys on humanity under the guise of 'liberty and justice for all.' Those should not be empty words. We should all do our part to love our neighbor as ourself, and uplift humanity by rooting out the negativity and hatred that has tragically become commonplace. We owe it to ourselves and each other.

Do not settle. Ask questions. Seek the Truth. Never accept anything less. The revolution is peaceful, it is a change in our way of thinking and the collective consciousness. Remeber to smile because love will always shine. Fear is such a weak emotion and it is being used to control everybody. Love is stronger than fear, and you cannot hide the Truth. I am a part of the problem--the problem is I'm peaceful, and I believe in the people.

  15. @harrud.
lupe was reffering to the "at" symbol which is this "@".also an a in a circle.no link to the anarchy symbol.and the definition of anarchy is:
    1. A state of disorder due to absence or nonrecognition of authority.
    2. Absence of government and absolute freedom of the individual, regarded as a political ideal.

  16. Anarchism has no formal doctrines or manifesto and no single idea. Anarchism is a outlook which says at its core that power and domination are never self-justified. Also, that all power systems need to be challenged and if they cannot meet the high standards they must in order to be justified, as most cannot, they should be dismantled. On these grounds almost all current political and economic systems should be challenged and ultimately dismantled, because they are not justified. Race, class, sex, sexuality and other distinctions are criticized as encouraging domination of one or more group over one or more other group. Pure unfiltered bottom-up democracy at all levels of decision-making in all areas of public concern tends to be the anarchist ideal from the Anarcho-syndacalist tradition. Noam Chomsky is a good example of someone who calls himself an anarcho-syndacalist and he presents those ideas better than I could. Anarchists are often portrayed as violent however violence is a form of domination and has a very high burden for justification which can almost never be met and most anarchists consider peace the only viable and just way to dismantle systems of power. The popular image of anarchists as "bomb-throwers" derives from the Haymarket affair which you can google if you would like.

  17. I completely agree with this manifesto! I have already posted this on facebook page. all the points are tru and correct and we should follow them. screw wars based on religion... who ncares what 'god' ou follow as long as there is peace in the world.

  18. Most people that coment on this post didn't understand the Manifesto or is too blind to see that is the way to search the light in all this darkness around us.
I'm a african rapper and i'm proud wathing how Lupe has a brilliant mind and straight objetives, how he bring us the way to search the true, and find our own way and hapiness as a human being, and once we are capable of understand it we can shine among our neighbor, our family.

Lupe i just wanna thank you, and say that the revolucion will not be televised, will be peacefull, that you have a lot of supporters all over the world, so keep strong, and keep doing the right thing.

    Peace
    G

  19. Realize, he's still working for the illuminati. make sure you know who you are listening to.

  20. I am troubled to understand the meaning representing L.A.S.E.R.S as well, but i can assure you these ideas you guys are suggesting are a little far from the truth. The truth isn't televised; the truth isn't brought to us on a silver platter, he is stating we must go get it. We must fight for our freedom because we are tired of great powers with-holding the truth from us. All we are fed are lies, and great powers constrict our freedom more and more. Now LF, among many other artists reference this idea of "illuminati." Now whatever the name may be, it represents a power that lies behind the government, pulling the strings allowing what they want to happen, what they want us to see, and "LF is trying to say" what they want us to DO. He is stating that we must put our foot down, enough is enough, we want honesty, and truth among those WE elect, no more BS (in simplistic terms).

Now this is my personal interpretation, take it as you will.

    Cheers Lupe,

    Va, Cad.
