This is the same thing that happened with Kanye's "Paranoid"... they re-mixed it for the album, and they mixed it again for the video leak which wasn't the final version.

After hearing the hooks from the stuff Lu played at concerts, I was wondering why the hook in the leak was slightly different(and worse imo). Dont get me wrong, I love the leaked version but I felt like it was completed or that it needed a little smoothing over. Hope to see the real track soon.
something thats real interesting is i went on 2DopeBoyz and the amount of comments Lupe's song is getting in less than a day is smashing on Slaughterhouse's freestlye over DOA, Jeezy's new song, Lil Wayne's 2 new songs, and T.I's trailer for his new video. Like Damn talk about buzz and the final verison aint even here yet....
Lupe quite possibly the greatest hip hop artist period your talent definitely shines thro the mic and i will not tell a lie i am guilty of downloading "shining down" but i support lu in everything he does and believe i got food and liqour, and the cool store bought and the same will go for "Lasers" the day it drops which will hopefully will be soon
I felt the same way about that mix. I bet that's more than half the reason why LU was so upset about it.
