I'll be doing an interview with Matthew within' the next couple of days...and I thought...maybe some of you have some questions for him that you always wanted to ask...well...here's your chance!
If you have a question...just put it in the comments and if you're lucky, it'll be answered!

how has the songs you have done with lupe influenced the music on your upcoming album?
ReplyDeleteHow did you get your incredible vocal ability did you practice as a kid...vocal lessons...or are you just naturally talented?
ReplyDeleteSean I am pretty much just wondering how Matthew has gotten and perfected his voice since he was a child...I'm in a hurry but it would be a great question if you rephrased it better.
Also!!! How old was he when he learned to play the guitar?
ReplyDeleteI have always wondered this and both those questions sort of fit together...
I'd love to know if he would considering becoming a homosexual?!!
ReplyDeleteIf the answer is yes then feel free to offer a marriage proposal from me.
which Lupe collaoration is his favorite and why?
ReplyDeletecollaboration*
ReplyDeleteHave you learned anything from working with Lupe, either about the music industry or artistically or both? How has that influenced your career path? Has it affected your ambitions in any way?
ReplyDeleteWhat person or event has been the biggest influence in your career?
ReplyDeleteHas he got any plans to do a European (more specifically UK) tour once the album is released? Did he have any particular musical inspirations for the album, and which of his previously released songs can we expect to hear re-recorded for this album?
ReplyDeleteI know he's a pretty individual artist but would he consider recording a song with any of the following: Jazmine Sullivan, India Arie, John Mayer, Robert Randolph, James Morrison, Van Hunt, Raul Midon or Musiq Soulchild. Just let him know I really love the imagination, soul and passion of his music and can't wait to hear the new album.
1) How you catched up with Lupe?
ReplyDelete2) Who you consider to be your favorite singer, do not name yourself, please.
3) What's up with your album?
G-A, cheers from Belarus
What's his definition of success in the music industry, and does he think he will be able to achieve that or has he done that already?
ReplyDeleteWhat the name of his new album?
Where does the inspiration for his songs (Daughter of the Sun, Uncertainties, My Remedy, to name a few) come from?
I wish he could perform on Saturday Night Live this fall--that'd be amazing.
ReplyDeleteYou mentioned in previous interviews that there was some hip-hop influence on your upcoming album- how much can we expect of that song wise? did the influence stem from your work with Lu?
ReplyDeleteWhat's his favorite song on his upcoming album? What does he want the album to say about him?
ReplyDeleteIs he comfortable where he is at the moment, relatively free from being "owned" by major recording labels?
