^^^ how was i exageratin?? there is no song out there that i can compare to either shinin down or army girl. they are completely new sounds, and epic. and the fact that an artist wit the talent that lupe has DIDNT go platinum wit F&L or The Cool, but soulja boy did wit his debut album, shows that somethings ALREADY terribly wrong wit humanity

ReplyDelete^^ i never said platinum record sales mean everythin in the world. but the music popular in the mainstream mirrors humanity in many fashions. just like, i believe, saigon i pointed out, back when nwa and public enemy were the mainstream hiphop acts, there was a week long riot against the rodney king court case decision. but these days, wit souljaboy, lil wayne and the like bein the popular artists in the limelight, sean bell happens, and we have mere press confrences against it. but wat do we have instead?? lil kindergarteners booty shakin and p-poppin on a handstand at a pre skool party. i think u can agree that if lupe, common, and other artists had lil wayne numbers, society would be a tad bit better.
ReplyDeleteur arguement about shinin down havin instruments, so its not a new sound makes absolutely NO sense. 99% of songs use instruments, so all songs ever created that uses instruments sound alike??
I really can't see how the album won't drop until December. There is already one single out and I just think that if he is starting to perform "Army Girl" too then it has to be closer than that. I just think that he set the December date as a "worst case scenario" type thing until the real date is chiseled in stone. I think he would rather move the date up than delay it like he has done in the past.

ReplyDelete..i ask that because I made this plan where im buying every hot album coming out..wale, cudi, jay, big sean, the game, the clipse, kid sister, raekwon and lupe...the twist is im not listening to any of these albums until Lu drops Lasers because that's the last album coming and thats my most anticapted being he's #1 on my list...once Lasers drops im listening to EVERY album on that same date..may fall into a coma or somthing..but i just know ima be fuckedzo if something happens.....like a DELAY!

fnl had like 14 tracks, the cool had 17, if im right, lasers should have 14 songs.
LUPE SHOULD STILL PUT STEADY MOBBIN ON A CD. Lasers would be a perfect album for it. This song as a single, and a music video will shut down the hip-hop world.

it was a ustream from a while back, when he kept doing trending topics. trust i'm not lying--no reason too. He was answering a lot of question in the chatroom through the Ustream and I asked about Lupe like 50 times until he finally said that Lupe is going to be on it.
