Well, I mean, you do have to consider what album this is. This soundtrack appeals to the soft rock crowd, and that's pretty much what this is. So, good play on Lu's part to give the audience what they wanted. Ya, so it might not be classic Lu, but it's still classic :D

i find it funny, that this song will probably be the one that appeals most to twilight fans so why is it a a bonus track? the soundtrack is filled will alotta indie, so maybe just maybe if it can transcend that, then it'll be a success on both parties behalf, word mutherfuckaZ!

i dont think hes giving them what they wanted necessarily. ill be honest when i first heard he was doing this song for new moon i was surprised as well as excited but i didnt see how it was going to fit. i dont think he catered to a certain crowd specifically because as a huge lupe fan and an equally huge twilight fan i dont see this song really fitting the movie/book/story, HOWEVER, i still really really love it. i suppose time will tell if this gets him as much recognition as he might be hoping for from this audience, but i think its a great song and stands strong alone and apart from the movie that it was written for.

And, yes, Jay was going to use auto-tune and decided not to because it's crazy wack now.
