When I first put this entry up I thought that Lupe was actually talking about Lasers on Twitter yesterday, turns out that he wasn't. He's already working on the follow-up to Lasers!
i agree no radio songs i really dont wanna put in a lupe album n hear justin timberlake wayne drake ro any of them i want santos gemstones bisop g shayla g mos ddef brother ali and b.o.b if that happend i wouldnt need music for another 5 years
People.. Gemstones is a gospel singer now. Where have you people been for the what.. like past year? And I wouldn't mind having J.T. on the album.. You don't need to have certain people as features to prove that YOU'RE nice.. another person's aura isn't Lupe's aura. That's just being ignorant.
I really hope Lu doesn't lose his "cool". His original fans have been behind him for so long, including myself. I can't blame the man for wanting to blow up so that EVERYONE knows his name, I just hope he doesn't lose his realness in the process.
I am definitely looking forward to a collabo with B.o.B. My two favorite musicians right there. And JT on some vocals? Well, I think that's a GREAT idea. I, personally, love JT's voice. That would be nice.
Final comment: We just want LASERS already, Lu. Take your time, make it sweet, you know how your fans like it. I wish Lu the best of luck.

Same with Nas he never chased radio when he first started but now Illmatic is known as one of the best hip hop album ever. Food and Liqour will do the same.
all Lupe needs to do is put a [insert overrated popular pop/r&b singer] on the hook, make it catchy, decent or w/e, let Lupe do what he always do on the verses, promote it, make it a single, make a video, BOOM! possible top ten hit, got buzz for the album, drop the Lasers album, mission accomplished. Just sayin...
I really hope Lasers comes out real soon because I can't take the anticipation anymore.
And whoever said that Lupe needs radio hits, that's a terrible idea. I would much rather prefer that Lupe continue making music like he has been than changing his style to get some radio play.
And I know Lupe doesn't really need features to make an amazing album but I would love to see him do a track with P.O.S.

Well, if doing a song with an "overrated/mainstream artists" is considered selling out then I guess he sold out when he did Food & Liquor and The Cool. There is nothing wrong with doing collaborations with more famous artists so long as he doesn't dumbs it down.
